Frequently asked questions
How high should a gym mirror be off the floor?
The bottom edge should sit 30–40 cm above the floor, so your stance and feet stay in frame. A mirror 150–170 cm tall from there puts the top edge at 190–200 cm, which covers most people standing and everything on the floor.
Can you cover a whole wall with mirrors?
Yes. Individual panels go up to 200 × 200 cm and are hung side by side with a minimal joint. Send us the wall measurements and we will work out the panel layout.
Is safety backing necessary in a home gym?
We strongly recommend it. The film bonds to the back of the mirror and holds the glass together if it is broken, so it does not come down in shards.
How do I fix a gym mirror to the wall?
Into masonry or into the studs, with the weight spread across several fixings – never into plasterboard alone, and not with mirror adhesive on its own. Keep the mirror out of the drop zone of a barbell where you can.
Do you supply mirrors for dance studios and commercial gyms?
Yes. Panels are cut to your measurements rather than to a catalogue – get in touch with the wall dimensions and we will quote the layout.
